New Team Fortress 2 short from Valve, its hilarious, their best and longest TF2 short:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLlLQ3LmZWU

As some of you may remember I make items for TF2 and worked on some community updates.
And they featured one item from the TF2 Workshop in the short, my item!! such an honor

Today is a good day!

Exactly 5 years and 9 minutes ago I became a father. Hard to believe that she starts school in the fall.
Happy birthday to my little princess who snuck in as an Entity easter egg at one point.

Lol I remembered seeing this little sliver of color on the right side of the "New Map" dialog. My reaction was priceless when I re-sized the window.

As dead as Halo 2 Modding is, I find it very enjoyable to program for. I (nearly) finished my first HTML-Control based Meta Editor.

It's been years since I do Sword Flying glitch, but just about 5 minutes ago I figured out how it WORKS:
Since Halo 2 runs at 30 fps, the game updates itself 30 times a second, now, when you do the weapon switch thing, the reticle stays red for just ONE frame, before it updates itself, so you have 1/30th second to do the lunge

But, for zoomed weapons it's different, you have to "cancel" the animation first before you can do the lunge, otherwise the reticle will go off red in the next frame

So, you just zoomed your weapon and acquired a target, you press Y to change weapon and exactly on the next frame, you press X, and in the next frame, you perform the lunge, so timing must be perfect and you have a 1-frame window to press each button, totally 3/30th seconds

I think you guys already know this by now, but I was able to see the magic of this thing by slowing down the game to 1 FPS using Yelo

So did you fix those weird values that show up while selecting a reflexive different than 0?

This is a completely new AddOn, the code in this Meta Editor is entirely from scratch, but to answer your question, I don't think that bug exists in this editor.

Also, does anyone know how that client-host ghost glitch works? The one where the non-host player shoots the ghost with a rocket while entering, on their screen they're stuck to the ground, and everyone else sees him as bouncing, and then only the host can drive the ghost.

Wow, really clever man. I would have never thought of slowing Yelo down to figure this out. Good job!

Sup fuckers. 8-)
I have stopped by several times but damn it's been a long ass time since I made a post.

I'm in the process in moving to a new house. Unlike the previous couple times, we're fast tracking this shit.
Should be out in < 3 weeks.
Getting kindof antsy since all my equipment is packed up. Cant do any kind of electronics stuff.

Current house is rented at $900/month. New house is $400/month to own, not rent.

Seriously though, I have "new posts" from 16 months ago.

Maaaaybe. Right now all my major electronics are boxed up. Despite not being used in a couple years, the original modbox remained plugged in until a few nights ago.

Well there's something I wasn't expecting haha thank you.

And on that note, I'm now 21.

I've been working on halo things here and there, re-evaluated half my life, and I'm moving out of my dads house and into my moms house. A LOT of things will be changing once I move in less than a month.
Don't snort the magic, we need it for the network.

I have been doing some programming for my boss to make the office work/ snowboard prep easier , so I'm glad I'm able to do something that I actually enjoy for him. Been doodling some small doodles lately, I like them... Not sure if you guys will though? Sharing them anyways --> Doodles

After a bit of work, I got my Bitmap Internalizer working! I've never really attempted adding new data to a Halo Map before, so programming this is pretty exciting! (I checked UAT after internalizing several bitmaps, and 0 holes!)
