I don't get recursive injection, I extract recursively(parsed) and build normally(parsed) I'm unsure, sometimes I extract things separately just parsed and write the .info file myself but always with the oldest pluggins (which I think is a bit insulting to grim and xzodias work but they'll admit the oldest work best for building, perhaps some ultra simple plugs should be made just for the task)

I always press parsed whether its duplication, saving a tag, or my fav "Drag N Drop".
In Entity's 1.3, 1.4, and 1.6, i hit recursive for drag n drop.

Recursive duplication option will make a duplicate of all tags linked to the duplicated tag.
For me thats a waste of space, as many tags i use in mods have only what i need, to save space.

When injecting a model, or building a tag, i dont believe it makes any difference if Parsed, or Recursive are ticked.

Ive always wondered if that would make a difference, also many of the Edited tags i Drag N Drop with only Parsed ticked, work fine using the newer plugins, and Troy's Entity's

There just oversized PDAs.

I would rather a PC/windows tablet, so I could run anything on it. Instead of just what Apples says I can.

After a confusing week of trying to get Yelo to work on my xbox... I finally able to get it working today, o and I spent hours on this too... at least it was rewarding.

Ill explain the attempt. Back in the day I used Yelo in almost everyone of my mods to get a better view of what I was doing, therefor saying that I had tons of experience in where the files go and how to use it. For some reason, I couldn't recently after 2 and a half years of not modding Halo 2, couldn't get it to work. The problem was, I would load Xored and inside the Launcher, Halo 2 would be displayed, 2 Halo 2's to be exact, so I knew something was wrong. The controller I was using worked perfectly fine in the menu of the dash and even inside the games while playing. I became so overwhelmed trying to delete things off my Xbox, restor it, Resoftmod it... and then all the sudden when I was about to give up last night... I plugged in a different controller to replace the one I was originally using and then...

It finally worked!

Talk about the most confusing crap I ever had to go through on my Xbox.

Don't even waste your time... just an over-sized Ipod touch. I was about to spend a wopping $600 on one of those until I realized there were tons of reviews saying it's one of the most horrible pieces of crap that Apple's ever released. I think if you're willing to pay that much for it, you might as well look into what other companies have in store for that same amount and realize that there's are probably 100 times more amazing

Maybe HTC should make an AndPad... runs android on a screen about as large as the iPad... no just kidding, but making a PC into something that small (make it run XP) because if the iPad has a duel core processor, 512MB of ram, it sould be able to run win xp... that would be cool.

At work we have a few tablet PCs from HP that run XP. They are a little fatter then the Ipad but who cares, you have windows on the go.

Rant:
My computer keeps getting these random crashes that cause my system to reboot without a bluescreen or an error message and I cannot figure out what is causing it. This crash only happens during games. It is so random that it sometimes goes for a week without crashing but other times it happens every ten minutes. There's two components that are most likely the problem, the power supply and the graphics card. I don't have another power supply that can put out enough power for the PC (+600W) and I don't have another powerful enough card to strain the power supply to see if the same thing happens.

I tried using a second power supply to power just the video card which didn't work which made me think it was the video card, but after so research I realized my card could be getting more then half it's power from the PCIe slot on the motherboard, which could cause the motherboard to be drawing too much power from the 12v1 rail. The only way to truly test this is to use a power supply with at least a 60a single rail.

Run a stress test on your PC and watch it. See if it reboots during a video test or memory test or maybe just fails something.

Fuck mdx, and slim dx.. I think I'm gunna write all of Mutations rendering code in C++. It's not the best decision, but I don't like slim dx much, and mdx only works on .Net 1.0 and 2.0 iirc. But it defently does not work on 3.5. Don't even mention xna because I will stab you with my crack pipe...

MDX works fine with net 3.5 (I'm running entity on it atm).. and for net4.0 a quick google showed that that's possible too. Make sure your building your projects for x86 and not 'any cpu' (which will cause problems with 64bit machines).

Also XNA is the BEST decision you could make; it takes care of all the boring boiler plate code for you so you can start rendering your stuff straight away. Plus the xna creators site is chock-full of professional samples from MS to help you out. You'll save so much time using it it'd be be silly not to.. :)

Managed DirectX 1.1 while compatible with .NET 2.0 (and the .NET 3.0 and .NET 3.5 extensions of the 2.0 runtime), is not compatible with .NET 4.0.

The last bullet here is the heart of the issue I started out with in this post. The Visual Studio 2010 toolset only supports developing .NET 4.0 applications, and therefore Managed DirectX 1.1 as a .NET 1.1 technology is not supported by Visual Studio 2010.
I've tried it myself. Apparently there is some hackery to get it to work but either way mdx does have some problems from time to time.

Been in and out of the hospital myself to witness myself in the bed or others. Not a happy place.
