[Forum Mod] Removing Forum Background

Hey everyone! I will be showing you how to remove the Forum background. It seems that a lot of you said the theme is good looking except the background. Well I thought I might as well tell you how to block forum images.

You will need Mozilla Firefox and Adblock Plusfor this tutorial.

You will also have to install Adblock Plus for the version of Firefox you are using.

Go to Add-ons


Select: Browse All Add-ons


Search for "Adblock Plus"


Add Adblock Plus to Firefox.


Once Adblock is installed to Firefox, lets begin.

Go to the RemnantMods' Theme files.

Select Background_Tile.GIF.
Copy the URL. (Ctrl + C)
- I didn't copy the correct URL for some reason. Use this


Now lets add a subscription to Adblock Plus.

Click on the Drop-Down part of the ADP button. Select Preferences. (Ctrl + Shift + E)


Go to Filters > Add Filter.


Paste the Background image's URL. (Ctrl + P)


Press Apply then OK.

Your Done! Just go to the forums' index and if you don't see any results, press Ctrl + F5.

You know, Adblock Plus has a right click feature. You can simple right-click the background and hit "Adblock Image".

Then don't block them... I didn't mind too much, they added a cool touch to the site, but I blocked them because I thought white looked better.
