Two expansion packs come to mind, Oblivion: Shivering Isles, which is 2400 points, and Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus, which is 1600 points. Not much in the way of a hard number, but it gives an idea of a typical price range for an expansion on Live.

Pretty much all correctly assumed. I'd like to take this opportunity and rub it in the face of everyone who doubted Veegie and me. Once again, stupid, unfounded speculation loses to evidence-based inferences.
It's an expansion. Correction: It is a standalone title, but it is not "viewed as a full game." It's an expansion to Halo 3, but doesn't require Halo 3 to run.
It happens around the early events of Halo 2.
It's not based around Chief.

On an unrelated note, the Fall Dashboard Update, the New Xbox Experience, will be released worldwide on November 19th.

Veegie pointed out an interesting aspect, the glowing edges that appear in the ODST's HUD is, for the most part, the same filter that you see through the sniper scope, meaning it could potentially be an in-game feature. Not confirmed, but possible, and we know they have the capability to do it. This could lead to some real night levels.

I have hummor, I found it funny that it uses the domain "recon.com"
But many people have played a stupid prank, they gave a link to me and said it was "a great modding site" or something...
There's 2 Sites JUST for that prank...

I'm sad it'll still have the same feel as halo 3.. Although some of those questions were quite confusing. What's with the talk of H3 multiplayer maps in H3:R or not playing as an ODST in its multiplayer if that's what the game is based around? ARg.g..

Yea, I was hopeing for a new engine too, but there current engine may be able to still give a different feel.
I sure hope there will be good night levels, Also, how will the heath system work? ODST don't Have Shields.
I can't wait till a in-game trailer, just to see what its going to look like.

They've never explained how ODST armor works, they could go with a health bar system, like Halo 1 had, if they wanted to. They have no restrictions on how it will work. They don't need to have shields.
