I get the same. Are you using transparency or something only available in Windows 7? I'm running XP.

Re: Remnant Chat [1.1.0.0]
I think I might have fixed the problem. It was looking for a registry value that does not exist so it will throw an error, so ugh I will update the downloads. Just re download them.

Alright! Just d/l the new version...
...fail...
Something with the System.Drawing class. If you're not using this class at all, remove it's reference.
PS - I have .NET framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 & 4 installed.

It's being used only for setting the icon. You did run the registry fixer before loading the program up right?troymac1ure wrote:Alright! Just d/l the new version...

Yes. Also, the updater crashes with the same code.
The Fixer runs though!
Some code shared between the updater & the program causes the crash.

this:
XP SP3, Laptop w/ Intel on-board graphics card.
Possibly unsupported graphics routine? I'll try it on my desktop.

Got rid of versions 1.1.1.0 and under, as they are obsolete. New version, go update.

Well, apparently the reason the windows XP version works is because the icon got removed... Strange, I know but it doesn't make sense... Apparently it has to do with the form's resx file...NotZac wrote:NotZac [0:30 UTC]: Get some icon goin' on in the form. I hate the default .net icon in my taskbar.

Needs a sound or something visual to indicate people joining or talking, preferably one you can turn on or off
