Your first mod

If you can remember well, tell us what was your really first mod, we want to know (Not sure if that was a proper use of the word "we", but at least, I want to know )

My really first mod was in.... umm... the first days of 2006, and was a lightmap mod.
Because I didn't noticed of the existance of Entity, I used UberLightMapTool.
And I didn't had a working FTP connection, so I burn a new DVD with the modded maps.
The maps I modded were Lockout, Ascension and Coagulation, I thinked they look koo with the 'new' lightmapz.

Run fast, infinite ammo, shoot rockets with smg, shoot super fast with the sniper etc

First actual modification I made was swapping the projectile of the shotgun to that of the sticky 'nade. The stickies hovered because their collision overlapping.
It killed me as I curiously stared at the floating ball of plasma.

I did this on Containment back before I even knew I could put the whole game on the hard drive. So I did it to the DLC maps.
I had to redownload the map pack because I was unsure if the "original" map I sent was actually clean.

'twas on Relic. That's about all I remember. We made a tutorial for one of my random swaps twenty minutes afterwards. I was at my friend's house, and he had started modding a week before, so he left me in the room with Dothalo and a modded Xbox for 20 minutes... and then he resigned and ftp'd the map for me to see what I'd done. He was completely surprised it didn't freeze, and now that I think about it, so am I.

Snipers on Headlong rooftop, with high jumps, and plasma pistol shot airlifts, still fun today.

Wow, my first mod was actually the start of a pointless map pack. I had the warthog chain turret shoot wraith shots, sniper was 3 bullets, shotgun was.....awesome and lagful It was a triple shot, and fired 100 tank shells per shot, i might still have some screenshots around

Mine was a test to see if I FTP'd my maps correctly. It was Coagulation with all weapons dual-wieldable and a fully-automatic, infinite ammo Sniper Rifle with auto-aim.
