Why is Halo 4 looking so much like Call of Duty?!! WTF 343! The more videos I see of Halo 4, the less I become intrigued with the game. Is anyone having this same issue? I feel like my Halo love is fading each time I watch halo 4 videos. I may just be a sensationalist though--oh, and a hater.

The first video I saw looked like another shiny FPS. Campaign wise, Halo CE is the only good halo. As for multiplayer, Halo 2 was the most competitive.

I get what both doorman and penguin are saying, it's like at some point after H2 we gave game makers permission to make less "fun" games as long as the graphics got better,

example gta, my personal fav is vice city, graphically not amazing, nowhere near as big as san andras but IMO the most fun.

Yeah, but I think it is important for game companies to keep up with the best game graphics. Halo CE when it was released was one of the best game graphics and then half life 2 came out shortly after revolutionizing everything. I think the lack of fun in a game is not related to focus on graphics because if they don't focus on fun element who will continue playing it for just the graphics? I think halo is just looking so similar to call of duty and it's making me less enticed each time I watch a video. Who knows, maybe these additions will make the game even more fun.

IMO the problem is that they put too much detail into new games (in particular the maps).
Which detracts from the gameplay because your distracted by the surroundings...

I agree it looks very different, and the weapons don't impress me. But the Forge looks good. They finally lightmap your forged pieces now, so it's not bright and sunny inside a tunnel.

...so, am I correct to assume you cloned the SCNR tag and set the new one active? or is this due to a SP->MP conversion mb?

I built in a 2nd one to add chunk data for empty reflexives in the first, I then redirected the first scnr reflexives to the 2nd scnr reflexives to combine the 2 scnrs into 1.

This is one of those things I never understood. Breakfast only food at some restaurants, cafe's and such. What's so difficult about placing eggs on a sandwich after 11:00 am?

I kind of understand fast food needing to have separate menus because they precook their food, but anywhere else seems illogical.

Money. That simple.

Low demand. Most people don't crave eggs and biscuits at 2 in the afternoon.
In the morning however, people are rushing to work and want a quick meal they can inhale while they drive semi-reckless.

Breakfast also uses more resources (labor, utilities, space) so it's only cost effective to serve it in the morning.

Diners and shit like that can serve it any time of the day because they often cook it on the same range as anything else.

My shit-tier internet is crap as usual. Normal usage interrupted by occasional <1 second dead-times.

When playing Halo4, the game reverts to the connecting screen for tens of seconds at a time, returns to gameplay for a few seconds, then back to the connecting screen.
When playing MW3, it's just a mild annoyance, the game just shakes the shit off.
