Yeah Facebook is a pretty shitty experience if you ask me. I only use it on a regular basis for school purposes.

Why havnt you guys made a real time bsp viewer/editor?

Thats all it would take to jump start this again, it would be so easy to upload custom model over a scenery then resize/move/rotate them, and the stretched boxs for collision in the bsp viewer, (have selectable groups in bloc tag, with different color, or shaders swaps in viewer) then
poke the values and test in game.

Maps would poor out the cracks if it were that easy.

Thats a lot of work and no-one has the time or motivation...
Also, that wouldn't be a bsp editor...

I mean no dissrespect, it looks to me like you guys have all the apps to do it, but no comunication between them.

Has anyone compared the anniversary maps with the Halo2x maps, are they simelar? can new textures/models be exported?
or can those maps be made to play on xbox? or are they in any way compatable?

Halo: CEA (SP) is built off the original Halo 1 engine, with an upgraded graphics engine I believe, so I am not sure the maps can be decompressed / compressed the same. The MP maps are built for reach so yeah...

Found out today that my cousin was sent to some rehab facility. It can't be for drugs or alcohol, she's not like that in the least. Honestly she's the most normal person on my grandfathers side of the family, and by no means is anyone on that side abnormal. I know it's none of my business but something just doesn't sound right.

I've had two friends go to rehab, both for drinking. I hadn't spoken to them in a while, but I seriously didn't believe that they both had any sort of problem. They also seemed too normal.

I guess you never really know in the end.

BUT, it's none of my business either, and I'm not trying to make it seem like she does have a problem.

I haven't seen her since the forth of July, so I'm not really sure what happened. She is home schooled, and half the time when I would see her she was stuck watching her siblings so that might have something to do with this. We were going to hang out more in the summer but we never got the chance to, and hearing about this just really got to me. I also heard that she was going to be there for about a year so ya...

Anyway as I was typing this I saw what I thought was a pop tarts crumb on my desk so I ate it (I had pop tarts last night). I turned out to be cardboard :e_o:

Man, yesterday was a fucked up day.

First we get a call from my brother's school telling us he passed out and fell the fuck out his chair. So we go pick him up to take him home.
Not to break after school routines, we go to Arby's get some some food. My brother starts feeling ill again so we decide to take him to the hospital.
Turns out (supporting my suspicions) that he was just dehydrated.

Anyway, on our way home from Arby's to drop me off, some distracted driver was pulling out of a parking lot exit hit our truck.
My dad maintained the truck's direction even though it slid us like 4 feet to the left.
The damage to the other vehicle was purely cosmetic. Damaged front fenders, slightly buckled hood.

He hit us almost perfectly centered on the rear passenger wheel. A nice dent along the rear door and fenderwell. The wheel rim is now slightly oval and we have to get the rear half the the drivetrain checked out to make sure the axle or differential weren't damaged.

The only benefit's of this accident was that the truck is still drivable and the ambulance that arrive allowed the brother to be taken right to the hospital without a waiting room.
----------------
Ever since I came to this state, I've become exessively paranoid of other drivers on the road. Paying close attention to their movements.
And for good fucking reason. More than half these fuckers shouldn't be behind the controls of anything with wheels.

Oh fuck I hate driving in my area. I'm seriously the safest driver out of my group of friends (and probably school). I've never been in an accident, but I hear stories from friends how shit hits them out of nowhere and their day is just fucked.

There's this one group of girls, whom I've dubbed private school sluts, that frequently collide their own vehicles in the school parking lot. It happens so often that I just sit there with this blank expression on my face.

I mean Jesus fucking Christ, is it that hard to pay attention?

Sorry for your brother by the way, this rant derailed that a little.

I have a computer PSU on my desk that I use as a desktop power supply.

One night I shut everything off before going to sleep and caught a whiff of the very familiar smell of hot electronics. So I scrambled around trying to find the source of the smell.
Turns out it was coming from the PSU on my desk who's fan had completely seized up.
It's a good thing it wasn't actually powering anything otherwise it would have been dangerously hotter.

I thought you had shut everything off? Do you just leave the PSU plugged in?

EDIT: My rant:

Even though nobody mods halo anymore I still enjoy programming for it. I face a complication though when injecting files into the map. It seems that when the file size is changed, it just refuses to load. I can add 1 byte to the end of the meta, and still have the map fail to load on Xbox. If I force load the map (A.K.A. loading the map using debug) it will go into black screen when loading, and then just go back to main menu. Perhaps more needs to be done when adding data to the map. If any of you are wondering, I do add a new index entry, file name entry, and adjust the file size, meta start, and index count accordingly along with the primary magic constant.

There are some other values that need be updated beyond those you mentioned. Failure to do so will do what you described.

About $9.98 a month give or take. I realize I could find so much cheaper. But I haven't had any complaints so far so I don't see a reason.

Yeah that's not too bad at all. I'm sure you could get cheaper but who knows how well the site would run then.

How come PayPal is taking your money? The site's not gonna turn off in 3 months is it, do you pay through PayPal?

With the hosting provider I setup the payment to auto renew with Paypal. I'm just peeved that it does it through Paypal without me actually needing to clarify I want the money withdrawn from the account (which is withdrawn from my bank through my Credit card). All in all you could say it was my fault, but those auto-checked check boxes are to blame, I swears it. Anywho I've changed it to notify me when I need to pay and let me do it manually so I don't get any more surprises.

I had that happen on Ebay. It would auto subtract my seller fees at a certain date. I had to search Google a bit but I found out how to disable it. It was annoying knowing I had an extra $10 on my PayPal only to see it not there a week later.

I don't mind the auto pay, but it makes it easier to remember how much you've spent when you click the pay button yourself.

Also, I just might have to take a crap outside if my mom takes any longer in the bathroom >_>. Sorry if that's tmi.

My knee hurts a little, so the only reason I am not running myself into exhaustion is that you're not supposed to run when you're knee hurts, because you'll likely compensate by running differently to shield the knee pain, but that may likely cause an injury, thus putting me out longer.
So this leaves me the following problem.

In order to do well, I've committed myself to not playing video games... AT ALL... this semester of school, except for say, Spring break, or something.

The last time I played a video game was... Monday.

I am freaking. the fuck. out.
