I hate writing formal English papers. I hate how pedantic they are about citing stuff in a specific format.

Well the good thing is whom ever is left over from modding is super leet. So any mod that does happen to get released is super awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing some newbies joining and posting stuff as well but having alot of experience modders is an upside. Seems like everyone here shares the passion of wanting to modify halo 2 the best way that they can.

My xbox wont work till i solder many wires that broke off small plugs, and im just to lazy to start on it.

The plugs and wires would be easy to replace if i could find em seperate online.

Wait...wha...what the hell. It's already almost October?! I don't even remember anything major I've recently.
The entire month of August and September have been a massive blur. I can't remember any specific details.

My mind has been running in slow-mo for a while.
I've started a couple electronics projects. One's simple enough that it would take maybe a few days to plan and build, combined.
Just to give an example of how slow my metal state has been: The main parts from China that take 2 weeks to arrive....already arrived and yet I haven't even finished designing the projects.

I visit Remnant today and discover my most recent post and regard it happening 2 days ago, then see the post date and see it was 5 days ago.

I don't even remember the last time I actually turned on my modbox.

I find myself no longer drifting off into space because of ideas flooding in that demand attention, but now just drifting off and not thinking....at all.
Then look down at my clock and realize that I wasted an hour doing literally nothing.

I can honestly say that I can't remember the last time I played on XBL or even plugged the network cable in to sign in. In fact, my subscription is probably close to expiring.
I think that XBL is the one thing that kept me chronologically synced. As I would often recall something that happened within or near the time frame of a game.
I would use it as a reference point when thinking to days in the past.

=================================

Speaking of XBL, my internet is still acting up. I used to have good service when we first moved into this house. Then occasionally it would cut out but only if I am on XBL and in an active match with multiple people.
But now it's degraded to were it would cut out randomly through the day and would cut out every single online match (which is why I temporarily stopped).

Today was the 3rd scheduled visit from repairmen, they would troubleshoot some shit, accomplish nothing while doing so, then leave saying they don't see anything wrong leaving my internet in it's state of sporadic service.
Fun fact: Our land-line phone is connected to the internet modem and goes down with the internet.

My dad is reliant on oxygen therapy so a working phone line is rather important when needing an ambulance. He called comcast and informed them of this.
And in the reps state of "oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck, don't sue us or I'll be fired, don't sue us or I'll be fired, oh fuck oh fuck" we got a repairman out here two days later instead of 2 weeks.

Even funner fact: The day after the call to Comcast, my dad needs an ambulance and the phone connection fucking died part-way through the call.
Thankfully we were to the point of "stay on the line" as all the important info was already exchanged.

=================================

Maybe today I'll try to play online. Try to re-sync my mind a bit.

Dude that is easy to fix. First off, what program did you make that in? You have to export the model as a different file format and then inject the alternate file format into misfit. It is simply the file format you injected it with.

It looks like in 3dsmax when you don't click "Normals" or "Texture Coordinates" or something like that. I think it was the normals, so when it loads them it creates it's own normals and screws everything up.

its from sega gt 2002 lol. no way i could model that in 2 hours. i have about 9000 verts and the highest number in the face index is 3000 so im guessin 2 thirds of the verts are "bitan" (and another i cant remember). The only time ive ever seen them is with entity pmi. If im right then the normals must be every second line of the vertex block, and i have a good idea of where to look for the tex coords.

Throw that internet service out the window. Your profile says you are located in Florida, I highly doubt there are no other solutions in your area that give you more speed and reliability, and may cost less.

Rant:
Rant thread turned into make people rant about their internet thread.

Also my ping is so low (6ms) when playing Gun Game on Counter Strike Source that I have a disadvantage. The server delays my input to makeup for the higher ping players. I shoot, bullet hits the enemy's head and blood splatters on the wall, I die. I open the console and don't see any damage given from me. Now when I play zombie mod this rarely occurs.

You guys realise there's people who don't have internet? :XD:

These pings are pretty good, as for upload speed, well that's since ADSL.

I bought Rage a few days ago and felt my own rage when I discovered the game fucking sucks. (inflated reviews)

I tried to return the game to the Walmart I got it from.

Through a chain of events, I insulted a cashier for her poor service (or rather lack of), had security called on me, whom of which couldn't fucking find me since they were called to another part of the store that I wasn't even walking toward directly, followed out of the store while the guard's unnecessary rude attitude only intensified my anger, then getting his job threatened via lawsuit by an "oxygen dependent disabled man on a motor cart with his tank" who's now stranded in the store because some fat guard kicked his "assistant" out of the store.

The guard nearly shit himself from the "I just fucked up really bad" realization.

All that because I called the cashier a "fucking bitch".

Since I couldn't go back in the store, I semi-unintentionally left the motor cart in the parking lot.....in the rain.
===========================
I went to another Walmart but this time I would try for a replacement rather than a refund.
I got a replacement, then felt violated when the woman took my new copy of the game, took a pair of scissors to it, and removed the sealed wrapping.

I had trouble with Battlefield: BC 2 in the past. The game couldn't be read in my (then) defective 360 disk drive. I went to the first Walmart above to have it replace with a new copy of the same game.
I stated that I wanted a replacement yet the first question was "would you like that on a Walmart card?"
This was less than a year ago.

More on the conversations later.

Graphics card not working properly, now forced to use on-board graphics. Oh, how much I hate 1024 x 768...

Oh yeah, even with a driver upgrade, I still can't play any of my computer games. Oh joy.

My Nvidia 9800GT just went out with a bang, well, more like a flame :¬_¬:

PNY decided to skimp out on a second main voltage regulator to save a few bucks (there are solder points for it on the card), which caused the single one to degrade too quickly (three years is too quick for me) and catch fire inside my computer. Luckily it didn't take anything else with it.
