Thinking about uploading the Halo 2 Beta to Remnants FTP servers... Seeing as how halo 2 is dying, I guess this might motivate some people to start doing shit again. Plus my program for the beta is almost complete...

and source? I'm wanting to make a tempoary scnr placement nuller (within entity) for quicker bsp loading but can't make head nor tail of how meta reading works from entity's source.Click16 wrote:......uploading the Halo 2 Beta to Remnants FTP servers.....
(I'm figuring this should be quite easy since chunk count offsets are constant)

Oh you thought I was talking about my program... I mean the actual beta that you play on xbox. Im gonna release it to the public. It's time for more things to go public, so halo modding can last just a tad bit longer... And i will release the source to my program. If you want to use my beta map library, go ahead, just give proper credit.bumlove wrote:and source? What exactly do you mean, If you mean like loading it up on your xbox, there are 2 methods:XZodia wrote:How does one use the Halo 2 Beta?
First you would need a debug and use a program I made that forces the game to load a map.
or you can use the cracked XBE and select xbox live then go to arranged game and select the map and start it.

Since you asked so nicely, it's short for Technology Student Association. I'm Regional President and it's my Senior year so I feel like actually being responsible...NotZachary82 wrote:Expound.Zieon Eslador wrote:Tech

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
The last couple weeks I averaged a 15:30 two-mile.
Yesterday I beat my best two-mile time by nearly 30 seconds, scoring a 14:28.
This morning I confirmed it by running a 14:28 two-mile again.
I magically shaved an entire minute in a week.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Every bitmap type except for AY8 is supported in Beta. I can't figure out AY8 though, it seems as if the height is being cut and I don't know why...

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Width will be 1/2 as each byte represents two 4-bit pixels. So if you are displaying it with full width, height will be cut in 1/2 and the bitmap will look strange.
