Don't ever get a NetSpend debit card. They like to withhold money just cause.
I placed an $85 order >a week ago with this card. The order in question arrived on my doorstep 4 days ago.
NetSpend is still withholding the $107 they decided was fair.

Their customer service is the only one worse than Comcast's customer service. At least they give you easy access to incompetent human beings.

More like NotSpend, amirite?

Lightning struck near my house. It sounded like a transformer box exploding. Sadly not all of it's juice went to the earth. My mom's phone/answering machine no longer turns on and my onboard NIC no longer detects a wire being plugged in. My router and modem are fine just the onboard nic is dead. Also my mom's PC turned itself on... Sadly I didn't have my surge protector/USP connected because the new power supply I got causes the unit to malfunction (UPS is for 400W or less, my system needed at least a 650W power supply so I purchased an 850W unit for future upgrades).

I'm hoping I can RMA this motherboard but I would hate to receive a newer/older revision of this board because it has less transistors powering the CPU. I think this is the only revision(2.0) that supports 140W CPUs. Maybe I shoudl just sell it on ebay and buy a new motherboard regardless if the RMA goes through or not.

We have been wanting to go camping, so after a 12 hour shift, we left for the San Diago mountians i drove for 7 hours beause traffic was horable, but
We finally got to the camping site.

There was a promotion were they were giving away a free net book if you stay for the weekend and attend to dumb sale pitch.

We found out somehow in the rush to leave we forgot all the fishing stuff, and the poles to our tent :x .
There was no level ground at the spot they gave us, :x it was all sharp gravel, :x there was no trails or anything to do there except a tennis court.
Who goes camping with a tennis racket anyway? :x
My wife left for the nearest wallmart for another tent and fishing gear, mean while it got dark and cold and my nefew desturbed the biggest monster ant pile i ever seen :x they over ran the whole plot, and there was more mosquitos then i ever seen befor.
We could get no cell coverage at all. :x We found out they dont allow any campfires on site. :x

Two and a half hours of freezing in the dark and batteling the bugs till my wife got back with the tent, then i packed everything up and drove 5 hours home,.
12 hours total driving for a two hour camping trip, and all after a hard 12 hour day at work in 105 degree heat. :x :x :x :x :x
And of course no net book.

I've been using MINT with this shit laptop I have, I can watch low res videos and play Pandora on it.

Also, I have only tried it once on a really old laptop(older then the one I put MINT on) and DSL(DamnSmallLinux) was able to run okay on it. The download for is like <100MB.

The reason for using MINT was so I would have all the drivers on it and not have to go out of my way to get it to work.

Why do people insist on breaking a file into 40MB parts and then make a torrent out of them? I could understand if it was a rapidshare upload but a whole torrent with 30+ .rar files...

Especially in torrents because filescan get corrupted winrar allows you to figure out which file is wrong, while if you had one big file you'd need to redownload it entierly and it is more stable to send smaller files...
But then again there can also be peers just there giving corrupted files on purpose, I don't use p2p anymore.

From my understanding the torrent downloads parts of the whole file (256KB to 4BM each?) and runs a hash check on them. If the hash fails it re-downloads that small part. Besides if one of those split files were corrupted chances are you would need to find another torrent because multiple peers now have that corrupted file.

And the torrent I downloaded had two separate file formats that the original file was split into making the torrent twice the size it should of been >_>. Honestly after decompressing the file it was maybe 100KB larger, out of 5.4GB.

Probably because it's way easier than machine code 8-)
...and not to mention, only a few lines gets you into 320x200x256 and puts a white pixel in the top-left corner. What more could you possibly want?!?

Code: Select all

mov ax, 0013
int 10
mov bx, a000
mov es, bx
xor bx, bx
es:
mov [bx], 0f

Well projects thus far are a work-in-progress but the things that im trying to accomplish are:
1.Creating a device to manage my solar panels an constantly direct them to the center of the sun....using step motors
2. Integrate touch sensors into a Specially designed diving flashlight made my by dad
3. Various 360 controller mod chips.

I'm still in the basic stages sadly, but its odd how i somehow enjoy the unforgiving syntax versus C's....Odd

SIDE RANTS
What sucks elephant testicles is that being a junior in highschool...there still isnt a teacher or mentor who is able to comprehend ASM. The AP computer science teacher is a lesbian for christ sake
Im so used to java that my structured style is fuXORd

Ah microcontrollers then. That too is the reason I began learning assembly.

Rant: I should find a new AIM screen name. Some creepy fucker IM's me. I don't recognise his screen name but I think nothing of it.
After all I fail to remember many or your screen names.
And since you have to be a remnant user to see my profile (and AIM name) that I think it's a remnant user until he talks about being horny in the shower.

After checking archived logs... It was some spamfags account I forgot to block months ago.

lololol I had one of those too a physics teacher (she could teach physics too, a typical male subject, being an ugly angry lesbian must have helped) but she also (failed to) teach, IT, fuck back in the early 90's was like the fucking stone age for IT classes,
"and this week IT class, as a treat we might sit at a macintosh, to learn some spread sheet bullshit that will be redundant before your balls drop, 4 to a pc."
You sholud complain, who to IDK, but definatly question those in charge's judgement.

Yes, with, but as I implied, I don't know the total size yet because my hard-drive filled up and the download just sort-of dies in Chrome when that happens... probably a bug.
