Went to the PA renaissance fair, I thought it was going to bore me, turns out it was quite fun.
I wore a kilt, what a pleasant breeze it was.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
Been playing with widget/gizmo creation in my very little available time ATM. Managed to come up with this so far:

It recognizes mouse over each individual axis (X,Y,Z) as well as combined axis (XY, XZ, YZ). Creating it as a seperate class so that it can be incorporated into any DirectX program (and eventually incorporated into Entity's BSP viewer).
Just need to add hilighting to the selected axis, then work on the rotational gizmo.
Thanks Neodos for the idea.

Managed to complete hilighting section. Went faster than I thought!
Now to incorporate it into BSP Viewer...
well, not now...

Looks cool. How would it be incorporated in the BSP Viewer? Would it be a superior method of moving and rotating objects?

Hey man! Thanks for asking! UT is going really well! I love it in Austin, and I spend my time riding my road bike around campus, going to classes, reading, exploring the city, and hanging with my girlfriend. I wanted to drop in on Remnant to see how everyone is doing. I am ecstatic knowing other people still MOD! That is awesome! I don't have internet in my dorm room yet, but I know once I get it I will be more in tune with Remnantmods again. I have slowly been wanting to design some textures and build a map of some sort. I may design it and build it later, hopefully.

Exactly. Managed to get the class into the BSP viewer, but I seem to have lost my colorsCaptainPoopface wrote:Looks cool. How would it be incorporated in the BSP Viewer? Would it be a superior method of moving and rotating objects?

Just working on movement speeds and gizmo sizing, etc. Then I'll build the rotational gizmo which will be mostly implemented already.

Just got back from the Halo Reach midnight release. I had to sneak out my window at 11:50, I walked about a mile to gamestop. There were only about 10 other people in front of me. Once I got my copy I walked about a mile back, climbed through my window, and made it back without getting caught. I feel like such a bk right now

Don't snort the magic, we need it for the network.

So, I am officially in the US Army now. I got ~6 months to get in shape, hopefully in a muscular way.

I love the response of the AI in Reach... Like they know when your sprinting, armor locking, and well what ever other abilities you get... Even though I don't have an XBOX 360 yet, I was playing co-op legendary with my friend.

Got my slim box last night
Managed to fix my original 360 just over a week ago and still no problems. It never ran that quiet before either. Now I have a backup box.
Finally, toasted ham and swiss cheese sandwich.

Re: The Official Happiness Thread
1) A&M rocks. Suck it, DoorM4n xD
E: Actually, I just learned about the shooter on campus. Hope all's good.
2) Watched Red Vs. Blue, all the plot episodes.
Was freakin' awesome. Rooster Teeth got the guy who did Haloid to do pre-rendered character animations for the last season. Made for some amazing fight scenes.
Anyway, the series peaked my interest in AI. Currently relearning C++.

Might be getting full-time work doing something better than my current part-time job. Excited.
