I have an old 1GB POS music player my grandmother gave me.

Lately, it has became very temperamental. Refusing to connect to my PC. I go back and forth deleting files and plugging it in until I can access it.
I find 10 files are in the wrong directory. The directory they should be in freezes explorer.
I tried organizing it, tried moving a file from one folder to the next. Instead half-copies the file while it NOMs the file registry on the way.

On the upside I did back it up and I intended on cleaning out old files that I had no interest in anyway.

Never had a problem with playing OoT. That's all I ever will need to emulate.

2/3 chance of failure. I hope you had some kind of in-store warranty...or at least a second console to play one while you send that one in for repairs.

Seeing as how my first one had a scaler chip failure, and my current one has the Open Tray error(laser failure), my next one should be perfect.

The birds in my area are such massive pests. And have no natural predators other than me and my boredom.

And they shit EVERYWHERE. No other animal does this. Other animals find a specific spot and shit, birds shit anywhere and at any time.
THEY SHIT WHILE FLYING!
They are also incredibly stupid. I just killed one of them 10 minutes ago. I look outside and 10+ are hopping around my yard.

I will take an extremely twisted sort of joy in widdling down their numbers.

Well im rebuilding it now(XBOX360) and crossing my fingers, i dont break it more.
I already broke the shell taking it apart.

As for the birds,

At work they shit evertwhere too and we have to clean it up.
The good news is, now we get to carry a pellet rifle on the weekends.

Last week i killed 1 possum, 13 pigeons, 2 blackbirds, 1 dove, 1 Big ass crow.
I prolly had 30-40 miss's during the week.
7 pigeons were clean headshots, but the rifle has a scope and they were just sitting there on the pipe-rack,
about 3 stories high.

That's kinda messed up. I personally just triple tap 'em. They may be massive pests, but I'd rather end them quickly than let them suffer.

Yesterday was a perfect day to fly my plane, the batteries were fully charged, and the radio was fully charged. However it all failed massively.

I sat down and tried doing a simple toss to get it flying and it nose dived instantly. Got up and gave it a move hardy throw. Flew longer but still nose dived.
Tried again, gripped it firmly and threw it hard and it lazily took off but fly around like it was already dying and eventually crashed.

I did some charge/discharge tests on my batteries and found I was getting less than half their rated capacity and they weren't capable of the high current draw that the motor pulls.
