I just remembered I had a Sony STR-D1090 Prologic Receive in my basement. It needs a remote...
I still need to find a remote for an AVR-5700 Receiver.

The only real problem with both units is that I don't have any speakers that can handle more then 75 watts. The D1090 I believe puts out 125W per channel and the 5700 put out 150W per channel. :D

Run two sets of speakers to each channel then.

So I played Firefight again for the first time in a while, and I am so pissed off at my brother.

Legendary. Windward. Trying to get the 200k achievement. I was 10k away, then my brother decides to videotape me like the annoying pest he is. Distracted from the game as I yell at him, a War Chieftain comes up and kills me.

Fuck that hour and a half I wasted.

Thats why you pause it, and beat the shit out of him. Then resume.

No.

If you're not committed to the game such that you're unable to beat the crap out of your brother and play the game at the same time, then you don't deserve to win.

Your deity laughs at you.

Feel like I'm actually getting somewhere ATM with Entity:
  • Meta Editor:
    • Fixed "Jump To" ident right-click command
Readded "Copy to all" right-click command
      Implemented new StringID selector box
Also, can select StringID by typing name now (case insensitive)
Changed IDENT swapper box to always open in one place and allow for multiple changes at once
Fixed display of bitmaps to show chunks AND mipmaps (yes, they are different, but the same)
Edited some dialog box text for clarity
    BSP Viewer:
    • BSP Section selections now work on ALL systems
Added options to disable BSP Permutations & BSP Lighting (for slower machines)
      Transparency working slightly better...
Just need to fix bitmap extraction/injection again (sounds familiar) now that it displays properly.

Also, finally joined the Mile High Club in COD4 after 1 1/2 years of not really playing it. Last achievement I needed :D
Only took me 1 1/2 hours or so to do it

Troy I can only imagine how well the program would work if you had made it from scratch instead of working on the abomination that is Entity's code(everyone's code sucks at some point I know, mine still does half the time)

Series/parallel thing depends on Speaker Z (impedance) !caution! amps are blown this way
or you could show some restraint with the Volume and its all good

yes, but higher impedance is better than lower for amps. may not be as loud, but...
series = higher, parallel = lower.

My short ram intake came in today. I'm installing it tomorrow.

Also many of the cable connectors under the hood were all corroded so I cleaned them off.

EDIT: Intake installed. The car sounds normal when idling but when you hit the gas is makes a lovely growl. After about 4000rmp there's a noticeable gain in acceleration.

On the Rant side of this, it's only 1GB, I might add 500MB to it. That and the fact that it's all gone after you restart. Though the images might back everything up.

Restarted my file on an older game, Pokemon FireRed version for the Game Boy Advance, and it is very fun! My younger brother got Pokemon HeartGold for the Nintendo DS, and that got me in the Pokemon mood.

It is one of my goals to see the happiness thread overtake the rant thread.

I'll start.

I love the impact in which all of you have had on my life. You guys have made my teenage years worth thinking about and cherishing. I am gratified for everyone here, and I thank you so much for making my early years spectacular.
