I strongly dislike these new game disk cases used on 360 games now.

No, they cut six holes on both sides of the case. I'm not sure why but I supose to conserve factory resources.
Anyway, the six holes form sort of plastic frame behind the disk clips, and are very flexible.
So when you press the button in to release the disk, instead of the clips folding in and releasing the disk, the frame flexes back so you have to hold the back of the case to get the fucking disk out.

And yes, the first time I tried removing a disk from one of these new cases, said disk bent way far until I realized why the box felt so light.
I thought the case was light because Infinity Ward included like a 3 page booklet with MW2, but it was because of shitty disk case construction.

Haha I know what you mean. I just got the movie Anger Management, (funny ass movie btw) and one side is a recycle symbol with 6 parts cut out, the other side has a circle the size of a disk, with 6 notches cut out, and yes the case is like weak cheap ass plastic.

Steam... it's so irritating that it encourages me to download cracks for games I own >_>

EDIT: nvm, it just forces me to pirate games.

We didn't see it before because everyone is dyslexic. Paradox ftw?

----------

For the last few weeks, the disk drive in my 360 has been failing. I would insert a disk, it would make odd sounds like it's struggling (and failing) to find the start of the disk and would end up showing the "Open Tray" option.
An option that should only appear when the tray is actually empty.

So I have to open and close the tray until it sees a game disk there and recognizes what game it is.
I have the game installed to the hard disk but because of the anti-copyright-infringement, you have to have the disk in the tray(and the game name displayed) to start the game on the hard drive. (unless downloaded from marketplace)

----------

I finished Assassin's Creed 2 today and wanted to trade it, and Assassin's Creed 1, in for store credit toward Forza 3. Only problem being that the game (the 360 version anyway) does not exist in their system and thus they cannot take it.
At least not yet.

I'm talking more long the lines of raging paranoia and anger controlling.

Any advice?

Do you guys think there may be far grander positive side to this thread?

Maybe this isn't a thread for complaining but counseling. We may be shredding our issues by telling people and hearing them respond by it. Do you guys think that is the case too?

The 1st step is to learn to stop yourself feeling anger/paranoia by detaching yourself from that which causes the anger/paranoia.

It's hard to do every time, but just accepting the things you can't change that piss you off really helps. Getting upset over them makes it even worse.

The night before last, we learned that the ignition coil in our heater stoped working. And the instructions from the manual describing how to restart the system resulted only a very recognizable egg smell.

So we have to wait until December 2nd for a guy to come out and repair it.
Luckily for me my PC, CRT monitor, and 360 produces enough heat to keep my room to a comfortable enough temp.

Exactly. I used to have anger issues, sorry I can't help you out other than this Doorm4n but the way I got over it is pretty much what OwnZ joO said. kinda funny too, when people ask my why I don't get pissed about certain things that I can't control they tend to think I'm the
"most-mellow-non-pot-smoking-person-ever"
my response is usually "shit happens" for instance when people get pissed about traffic.. wtf is honking your horn or screaming going to do... and honestly I have had some funny instances of seeing road rage.. like sitting in a traffic jam next to an off-ramp to an interstate, and there's this one guy who's honking his horn like it's going to change anything, then I make eye contact with like three other people my age.. and we all start honking to mock him XD

I think you're on your right to hate facebook, sometimes its just a compilation of the worse of humankind but otherwise its cool to keep on touch with some old friends and find school mates and such, as for your anger, i don't think its a good thing to always keep your anger to oneself sometimes you need to release it just avoid hurting people though unless they might really deserve it :XD: o release it in a non alive thing

I mean everyone gets mad, and sometimes it just doesn't take that much, but when you have the ability to say "ok, I accept this, because getting upset over this won't change anything", you should.

My birthday is tomorrow. And I have to spend it packing up shit. At least most of the stuff in my room can be thrown out.

Also, I am now sick and have a sore throat.
