False. If you watched my video on FP model injection, (though unlikely because of your ISP being a bandwidth cockblocker), you can inject a model with separate shaders proper UV as well as correctly assigned nodes.

I finally figured out how smoothing works today. ^_^

I have no idea how I'm going to model the wiring. Spline modeling perhaps?

Why not go wireless? This game takes place in 2024 right? (or some other year after 2020)

26th century. (2500's)

To have the wiring look like what it does in Halo3, we need injection support for the Rigid Boned model format (hint's to Cougar).
Otherwise you could just have the wire connect to the bottom of the stand where the pivot is.
Or go wireless like Click suggested, and just delete that wirebox plate.

I might just go wireless because I'm an extremely lazy person. The excuse "this is the future" should work here.

The camera won't be on anyway :wonder:.

I'm leaving the bronze part that same color and the handle is either crap or too detailed... Hmm, maybe it's detailed crap!

It seems rather counter productive to remodel he hog when you could achieve a good look by just nulling a few nodes

Good moar buildings people!

I did a quick modeling and added the glass texture with photoshop just to get a quick idea, needs more detail though, the circle things on top are landing spots for pelicans.
