Tural gets bagged on by an Admin... and has no choice but to take it!

Bout time someone high up the ladder says something we all think but get banned for.

The only reason he can get away with most of what he does is that loophole in their rules.

Staff members can judge the situation as they see fit. You may even be banned for something not mentioned below...

Hey guys, what is this thread... Official bash Tural? loolz.

I've been at halomods since 2003, and joined March 5 2004. I just think it is strange how times have changed so much and the new HM is getting pretty lame. I remember when mac was around (old time members should know this annoying fellow). I remember he use to flame all the time and it took about a year or more I believe to finally ban him. Now it's like if your signature is a little too big, or post a picture that people don't like you'll be put into the reader's club? or banned?

Well whatever, maybe I'm blowing this out of proportion but oh well. Times have changed.

EDIT: Also, for those who didn't know I was probably the coolest moderator around a year or two ago, name was: Masta.

HaloMods has been getting sort of "lame", as you put it, to me as well. Not sure why, I guess it may be because Modding has slown down, due to Halo 3 being out.

Times have changed, from what I remember.

And the picture is just freakin' awesome.

And also, my Word Censor rules were removed because none of the mods care.

So, curse away!

Meh, we're more lenient about what people define as "curse words."
Its no big deal to use such words since its basically part of normal vocabulary now.

...and yes, this thread is pretty much about how much Tural is a douche.

Honestly, I'm fed up with that website. There's 0 amount of respect going towards people who don't do anything (meaning, people getting disrespect when they don't do anything wrong). I've been posting less and less every day, and I don't really look at it anymore. It's definitely going downhill. Whatever though, I'm still posting there.

Halo PC is back and active, but it's full of idiots and people looking to cause a flame war. There's only a select few that are there to actually mod for the sake of modding.
Halo 2 is almost completely inactive.
Everyone's trying to mod halo 3, but no one's releasing their information and findings on how to actually mod; keeping it all to themselves.

What good that does.

I didn't want to. I asked Iron_Forge to change the guy's name. Forge said just RC him, as he didn't want to change a name. His decision, not mine. Bitch about him, not me. I had no input on that situation.

Kirk isn't an admin. He merely has the admin title. Kirk and myself are now equal in terms of power. We are above the staff, but below the admins. Nobody has been banned for calling someone arrogant. A logical argument or criticism is very different from flaming. A lot of people seem to forget that. DoorM4n was probably the key scenario here. He had a two day RC for a minor offense; 2 days is quite short. He then PMed Detox stating that the comments were directed towards Detox and myself. He took a flaming post that wasn't directed at anyone, a minor offense, and turned it into a direct flame at people. There is where the line was crossed. He then proceeded to evade his RC, as well as harass me on AIM and then quickly block me before I could respond. Clearly the best way to argue is to insult someone and then run away. It accomplishes a lot. I had no reason to dislike DoorM4n, I used to like him. He's a good guy, and I don't know where he changed to be the one to get banned.

Feel free to hate me for whatever you want, but try to be informed about the situation so you can logically hate me.

Yep, I know this is adding fuel to your fire and that everyone would like to proceed with their theories without getting any of the other side's story. The people who like me are the ones who know me. The people who dislike me are the ones who get punished by me. This is true in about 90% of situations. I talk to a lot of people, very few have any issue with me. It's the people who assume, based on my posts, that I act like that. My mannerisms come off differently when I post than how I intend them to. My assumption to this is that the previous actions I have taken have carried over and made it seem like that is my tone for current ones. I'd like to think I'm not all that bad of a guy. If you come talk to me about an issue, I will discuss it. Take Jackson for example, I had every reason to permanently ban him. However, he came to me, talked to me about what he had done, and I greatly reduced his time. I give a lot of breaks for nice people. However, it seems the nice people are about 1 out of every 10. 9 people will flame me, tell me to fellate their genitalia, whatever. 1 person has the decency to either apologize, or take responsibility for their actions. The people who are permitted to return are those who demonstrate maturity and capability to overcome their actions and still contribute to the site in a positive manner. I'd like to think that is the case in DoorM4n, but so far he hasn't made any attempt to talk to any of us, other than yelling at me about my testicles.

I think it's actually something that should be supported. People here are actually going to say what they think, and they can discuss things without fear of prosecution under the rules. However, it is their choice to use that opportunity, or to just keep bashing someone for nonsense. I am open to talk to anyone who wishes to, but I'm not going to bother if all you wish to do is harass me.

I never thought it was not you who chose to ban the kid; Just thinking I should point this out (although you already know it Tural) When you do something, even if you don't agree with it, you take responsibility for it. If you felt it wasn't right to ban him for his name you should have told Kirk to do it himself

Oh and Tural before you start assuming that I blocked you; how about asking others and seeing if I am really online? I haven't signed on aim in months and if I do sign on, it is to ask somebody a question or comment somebody. In your case, it was to give spurts of information toward you. Harassment? Fantastic.

Supermodder, I, and Jackson are the only people that have said something related to Tural after he has "arrived." To my memory, Supermodder has never expressed a dislike of Tural. So, I'll assume that it was directed toward me and Jackson.

I, for one, have never changed my opinion on Tural's character. If you look back, you won't see anything from me that insults him or expresses a dislike of him. You may see me disapprove of his actions, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I disapprove of Tural, himself.
