Its a limitation of the console I believe, not really something that the program can fix

If I recall correctly, you could record at 10 or 15 fps in Halo 2 with Yelo, most likely 10fps.

The live stream does a great job and isnt that jumpy. Only problem for me is the resolution is so low and wouldnt want to record that small of window. Otherwise i would use fraps and record straight from it.

If you're solo recording, you can slow the game time by a scale of whatever (say 3 times) and record at 10 fps with full frame dimensions, then compile the frame into 30fps with software.

Oh okay, so how do I make it so Im not recording a tiny screen like this?
Stretching it doesnt seem to do the trick unfortunately.

When I did this I used Yelo, the trainer. And FTP'd the frames over once I was finished.

The Xbox outputs such a low resolution you could probably get a cheap capture card and record directly to you PC without any issues.

Well I do have a capture card, but I thought that because the screenshot tools are in such high detail, it would be great to be able to record at unprecedented high clarity.

To be honest 480p shouldn't be hard for a decent card to capture as raw.

I have two capture cards--a ATI TV Wonder HD 650 PCI card and a Hauppauge HD PVR 2. The ATI card captures somewhat well with the proprietary software, but the settings are a bitch to use. I would record with Virtualdub but my card is incompatible with it for some reason. The Hauppauge HD PVR 2 doesnt seem to record composite cables in crisp quality--in fact the ATI records in better quality. Also, Hauppauge doesnt work with virtualdub.

If yall know a great alternative for virtualdub, Im all ears.

Updated to v10 last night and now it throws an error every time I go to click on the xbox menu. I will try to post a shot when I get home, but I think it was HRESULT: 0x00000087. I'm running XP, never did it with v9.

I get that same error with other modding programs but not yelo neighborhood. Hopefully xzodia has a fix for this.

I haven't encountered that before, I'll need more details.

Top happens on startup, bottom each time "xbox" is clicked. Program doesn't die, but cannot access any xbox menu functions. A quick google states a DLL is missing.

These files exist in the directory:

Code: Select all

7z.dll
Executables.xml
LowLevel.dll
SevenZipSharp.dll
Updater.exe
UtilDll.dll
Yelo Neighborhood.exe
Yelo Neighborhood.exe.config
YeloDebug.dll
YeloDebugSettings.xml
YNShortcut
Tried deleting all files and downloading newest version again, same results.

You could always download the code, and debug it yourself :P

touché. Just got home and posted the info. I think I may just do that. Thought I'd try a couple things first to make sure it wasn't something unique to me.

I can't touch it. I don't have VC# 2003 and nothing loads properly. I'll just stick to YN9. It works for all I need.

I've uploaded my own copy to the main post.
It includes a script to enable AI in Multiplayer over debug (ie without a trainer).

I get a similar message when I try to run RTH in older entitys.

At least yours give the name "RthDLL.dll". YN is very obscure.

Well the error "Module not found" usually points toward a missing (or mismatched) DLL file. But it seems that all of your files are up-to-date.

Bug report: if you don't have a cd-rom drive plugged in it doesn't like that.
