Multimedia Prject - Digital Makeover

Post by JacksonCougar »

So this semester I started a new class that I have been looking forward to taking: multimedia. The first thing that my teacher had us doing is looking at ways that pro's use tools like Photoshop to make models and superstars look as good as they do.

This is my attempt: I'm supposed to use "makeup" but I did not in this version; maybe later I'll try it :l0l:

Before: Bad acne made worse by my uber flash! (Keeps teeth white though :])

After: What do you think?

More editing; slightly differen't blur method:

It looks very well done. Excellent Job. Kinda bloomy though. (if that makes sense)

It does; I'll probably work on this a bit more but for now I think I got most of the changes I wanted. Now it's all about getting the small things right ;)

Yeah, the "cleaned up" one looks a little too blurred. But it's good.

The third one looks more realistic, but the acne is more visible.

The idea behind using photoshop to makeover models is that you want to fix major problems, but still leave in some defects (albeit minor) to make it seem more realistic. A little more work probably could have been done with the third picture, but in my opinion it fits the requirements.
