For the concentric rings, you might use the giant spinning cylinder mach that I put in my cadaver abuse mod. Then you could just scale the phmo and maybe the coll and have it work with very few objects in the map.

Looking good.

Biggest waste of time. I thought demonichs tutorial would allow for different armor added on, but nope, it isnt attached to the model so it moves around the model as it he moves.

If anyone has any ideas on how to attach a model to the mc model, im all ears.

Is it linked to the head?

It's definitely possible, neodos did it with his custom helmet he made a while back

Same principles as the warthog doormanz.
You need to get your markers and nodes right.

Damn those markers and nodes. I dont ever want to touch those again.

I have a few questions actually. 1. So, if I set my node to the head of the mc, it will be attached to his head? 2. Process after that. 3. Next, Next Step :P

Yes, if the node index of the marker you are attaching to is set to the head index, then it will be attached to the head.

No other steps involved.

Hey, I saw him first! Heh. Now use his mgs2 editor to give the centurion helmet a red mgs2 plume. :P

Alius Bos wouldn't open my map coz "I didn't provide an alternative string table", so meh, I did it manually.

Nothing special though, just changed some bytes in Hex Workshop

Its been a while since I messed about with Halo 2, so I decided to re-make an older HUD that I made. This design remains my favorite.

Does anyone know how to bake textures for shadows?

I don't think you can without a light map (as it looks like your tiling your textures).
But for such a small map, you could just turn on realtime shadows, though I don't know how.
Looks awesome regardless.

I remember there is a flag on the light tag to make the light have real time shadows, the interior lamps on the Zanzibar map have that for instance.

I did a thing while trying to see if I could do another thing. You can change the rendering mode in the shader pass meta. There are a lot of other things to change also, but I've been looking for this value for a long time now.
