The scarab was doing some funny movements last night--the scripts definitely aren't SLC

CLICK, dammit, you BETTER release this. You owe it to us for blue balling us. :P Also, I lolled at your MC reference in game.

You know fellas, I was playing blockfort today, and damn it was such a fantastic map. It is so simple, nostalgic, and well made that I can't believe it hasnt gotten more attention in the community as one of the first great custom maps. That's just my opinion, but I gotta hand it to Halo0001 for that map.

Oh yeah! You are my hero! I spy an oddball too. I was just hoping for the prophet and elite swordsmen, but jackals and regular elites are gravy too. Would it be possible for multiple human players to play against each other, while the AI tries to kill them all?

Still have some work to do, the scenery objects aren't showing in-game, but these are the results so far:

Alright, I know its pretty freakin' dark, It didn't seem this bad in 3ds Max, but don't worry, I'll lighten up the textures.

EDIT: Lightened up a bit...

I wish we could have played last night on Clicks map, but it wasnt SLC unfortunately. He said the app he created corrupted the map. :( I hope he can fix it. The map looks awesome! Now he is gone for 10 days. NOOOO CLICK! Come back!

I still have internet access :P And yeah, I'm at Nebraska. My app (afaik) didn't break the map, I f*cked up the HLMT for the map's scenery object, and I believe that is what messed up the map.

Both of the above look great. XZodia's map looks like alot of fun to be had and Click's map reminds me of N64 goldeneye days with that texture.

Damn amorphous remedy keeps fucking up!! GRRRRR

I guess it's good enough. I think I wont be using the Onyx map anymore. Too many frustrations. I think it will work better if I import collision boxes into other maps.

Doorm4n always goes all out on his mods! This is looking good. I thought the chariot driver rode in the chariot though, whipping the horse with one hand and slaying infidels with the other. I would love to ride around in this thing and laser whip people! Could also put a projectile with acceleration effect in the weapon so the chariot actually goes faster when you whip the horse.

The downfall of the chariot was the humble caltrop, so maybe you need neodos's landmine or the containment cores. The tdtl looks a lot like a whip when you put some squiggles in it, but you would want the one from the cinematic where the arbiter gets tortured, because it is short and doesn't travel a long distance like the sentinel beam tdtl. Unless someone has figured out the terminating distance in the plugin.

This would rock in some SP maps, like the grass courtyard in new Mombasa with the giant stone wheel, or that big snow map with flood marines.

haha, those are all awesome ideas! Thanks for them! I might use the caltrop one. I would definitely love to use this thing on campaign, haha. So my idea is to make the horse the passenger seat and the chariot the driver seat. But the driver can also use guns. Th tdtl is such a good idea. Ive never messed with it. Maybe I can make that work. Im hoping to not have to experiment too much so that I can pump this out. There is nothing worse for me than getting caught up in minute details.

LOL, it looked so Halo-like to me that I couldn't tell the difference. :P

Also, I don't consider myself good enough in 3ds max to have the privilege to post in the modeling thread.
