G-36 Model I just made - Tell me what u think

Post by Click16 »

Hey people, i made a g36 rifle, it is a automatic that spreads but not too much (judging from a game i have played and am still playing) i quick modeled it, to me it would do for a 3rd player model in any halo game, but if it where to be first player, it will need more detail...

Here it is (mah max render...)

Boxy, high-poly, low-detail models FTW.

It looks about right for a Halo model, its boxy, low-poly, and low-detail, should be a nice model with even a black skin ;)

Yea, with the graphics of the xbox you can get away with an 8 or maybe even a 6-sided cylinder.

Of course you don't like it Dark, you like much higher detail..
And don't say you still don't like it on a low poly ratio... It looks like BF:H guns, except that nozel could use work.

For a quick model its not bad. It looks like a standard G36 Compact.

For a starter model, it looks really good, but maybe you could chamfer the circular parts and save some poly on it. ;)

I think it is literally perfect for the halo engine. It has enough modular detail to allow a great skin to make it glow like the sun. I'm thoroughly impressed. I suggest you make more when you get the time. :D

That model does like damn sexy, but isn't click's model meant to be low poly?

My model works perfect in Halo 2, no frame rate lag or anything.
