Remnant Mods IRC Channel
Does anyone here besides me think Remnant needs one of these?
It could be something as simple as #remnantmods.
This would also help strengthen and bond the community, it would also be a lot easier to bounce ideas around instead of using multiple IM clients to keep in touch with everyone.
So what does everyone think about Remnant have an IRC channel for chat and modding support? :p

Re: Remnant Mods IRC Channel
It has to be easy to log in, maybe with a java interface, but i don't know if much people would use it, the forum is here for the same thing the difference is that this keeps the information on post on IRC you type something you quit and ome back it's not there anymore.

Re: Remnant Mods IRC Channel
i have mIRC 6.3 i think it is and if u logout, and log bk in, it will save ur chat logs and bring them bk up when u relogin
If the admins/mods dont care, i will host this one
I went ahead and setup one to see how ppl actually will use this, i created it on the EFnet server, channel #remnantmods.

Re: Remnant Mods IRC Channel
Ok, this is just off the top of my head...
1. Open mIRC (what i use)
2. Click Continue (exits trial screen)
3. Then it will ask you for ur name (use initials), email, and username (use something short)
4. Then go to Servers under Connect on the left
5. Under IRC Servers, double click EFnet and choose Random Server
6. Hit OK, then click the Connect button (looks like a lightning strike) in the upper left corner.
7. Once it connects, a popup window will ask you what channel you would like to join, type #remnantmods into the text box and hit Join
There ya go!
