College and Life!

Post by DoorM4n »

So, I am very interested to hear from you guys in this particular field.

1.) What colleges are you interested in going to?
2.) What would you fellas like to major in during college?
3.) What career would you like to have?

Also, you don't have to post this but I am kind of curious about everyone's SAT or ACT scores.

Colleges I am looking to go into.
1.) Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
2.) University of Texas in Austin, Texas

I would like to major in Radio and Television Communication. My primary goal when speaking of careers is to become a voice-over artist.

How about you fellas?

You're mighty young for graduating!

Been thinking about it all my life, I'm well aware of the risks involved. I've had my parents to thank for that sort of stuff (every few days my mother asks me a question like that, it gets annoying but I understand).

Taking a class in Drafting right now, it's pretty interesting. I just can't stand architectural drafting.. I love designing houses, but i'm officially sick of drawing floor plans, so never ask me to do that. I like drawing them, I just don't like having to do more than one in a short period of time like we're doing in this class.. granted these are basic plans we're doing, probably nothing near professional-grade, but I like to spend a bit of time on them, and I can't.

AutoCad, and a little bit of Revit. It's a really basic class, if I had taken it as a freshman or sophomore I could have taken more advanced courses in either mechanical or architectural, but I'm a senior so I can't. The one I'm taking is basically the basics of them.

Other than 3dsmax (although we don't really use that in the class) my favorite of them was Inventor. Pretty neat program.

What exactly is the difference between VIZ and 3ds Max? It looked the same to me..
