3Ds Max Problem

I have been having this problem a lot and I really need to know how to fix this so it doesnt happen...

When I go to do a Boolean feature, sometimes the poly or faces doesnt get subtracted correctly. I tried to take a boolean i already did and subtract a piece from it, and this happened. The cyan and blue pieces have bits and pieces of faces taken from them that were not intended. All I did was try and subtract a big block from two boolean'd cylinders.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not sure what the problem is but with booleans the order you select the items can make a big difference

I fixed it, come to find out the Boolean feature uses an older way os doing it, while ProBoolean actually does it correctly :)

Now I can complete my map models :D

Autodesk didn't care much about fixing that issue because it wasn't used much, of the tutorials I've read I have learned to only use the Boolean operation for very simple objects, also you're using 08, in more recent versions it may have been corrected, not sure..
