Hey guys. I found this cool video on YouTube telling me how to make a Styrofoam plate speaker. It called for 1 neodymium magnet. Instead of that I picked up 4 ceramic magnets. They aren't as strong as the neodymium magnets, but it works. I don't have a picture yet, but I will have a picture and a video soon.

Cons:
Low sound quality
If a heat sink is not installed, the coil can overheat and start removing the enamel from the wire.
Very fragile

Pros:
OK bass quality
If any part breaks, it can be easily be fixed

This project is very fun to do and can be pretty interesting!

Dont fuck with Neodymium magnets, there is an article where a guy almost lost his finger bc 2 neodymium magnets flew together on a table, he lost his finger nail and crushed his finger bones

Lol we had a large neomagnet at work on a carbon steal table, and we got every one playing with it as they walked by. It was extremly hard to pry off the table. I left it standing verticle on table and went to lunch. when i got back one of the welders helpers tried with both hands to lay it down gently, and it slamed down pinnining both his hands to the table, he was stuck all thru lunch till we got back.
Hes lucky it wasnt time to go home when this happened. LoL

That had to be funny as hell, coming back after lunch to find some guy pinned to the table

Dude that is fucked up. I'm messing with small 1/2 inch neodymium magnets not 10 centimeters!
