Updated my phone (Nexus 4) to the latest version of Android, which is 4.4 which naively supports a shell command over USB and ADB to record the screen.

Here is a video of me playing Draw Something 2

I just bought my first Assassin's Creed game a few days ago. I bought Assassins Creed 4 Black flag for PC, and the graphics are jaw dropping. The game is so interactive! You can sail the seas and board other ships and fulfill all your pirate cravings. I've been waiting for a game like this. This is what Tortuga was trying to create. Im so impressed with it and can't stop playing, haha.

I'm such a pirate theme fan that I played BF Pirates for Battlefield 1942 endlessly until the servers dropped.

With Christmas drawing near, just wanted to come by and wish you all the best.
As always, it's been a long time since I dropped in. Just a brief moment to remember the ol' days around here.
May you be blessed this Christmas and strive for your dreams.

All of y'all in parts of the United States (or elsewhere cold) where it's below zero, stay warm tonight and the next few days. I've never felt temperatures below 18F, but below zero seems life threatening to a whole new level. I hear it could reach up to -70below with wind chill. I don't want to rub it in to much, but I wore a t-shirt and shorts today in my south Texas home. All of y'all who can tolerate the cold--unlike me--have super powers in my eyes. Stay warm!!

I've made more progress with Abide. I'm gonna update the application threads with the new details. If anyone wants to give them a try, feel free.

I fired up an old computer and browser with an outdated link to Remnant. When it failed to load, I felt a pang of sadness in my heart that Jackson had finally given this site the Old Yeller treatment. Then I tried navigating to the site myself, and felt a huge relief that it loaded and people are still alive doing things.

So thanks Jackson for keeping the site online, and thanks everyone for sticking around. Ogrish, check out my powerups mod and make a map pack with those on some of your BSPs! Xzodia, Australia looks like a good time. Glad you managed to avoid the immense proliferation of deadly critters on that continent (so far anyway...). Doorm4n, congrats on law school.

Cheers everyone.

Agreed, I'm still happy this site is online. I don't check it as frequently as I used to, but it will be a sad day when it goes away.

Also, I start my new job on Monday, so that's pretty cool.

Yeah I would still mod given that there are others that are interested in playing them. I never really finished any of my larger projects that I began. I really wanted to make an SP mod of the level Delta Halo. I wanted to make it snowy and extremely difficult to see more than 15 ft in front of the player. Add snow based vehicles such as Xzodia's Snow hog. But seeing as I never released anything, I abandoned the project. But yeah the "drive" to want to mod halo will probably stay with me for a while, and looking back and feeling nostalgic about it. Great memories modding halo. Would love to make some cool shit.

I love hearing what you guys are up to :)

I'm back in the UK now and I'm planning to startup a business helping teenagers learn to make computer games using industry standard tools. I'm soon to start planning what and how I'm going to teach them and I'd love get all your input!

Don't get bogged down with technical things all at once like so many books on the topic of programming do: learn through exploration and example.

I am working too much to do much about it right now, but I do plan on finishing Halo 2 modding; it's on my bucket list of things to finish before I'm 30.
