Well there's my rant. Sorry if I offended anyone who is a loyal Apple customer, but please, there are much better choices for you.
A little late to reply but YO SAME CITY. Planning to transfer to UT in spring though! Dunno how confident I am about it, was rejected out of high school lol.DoorM4n wrote:Nah I'm in Houston now!
No way! Very cool man! Houston is a great city so far, and I think I like it as much or better than Austin. Austin, TX in my view is a city where a lot of people go to find themselves. There is a lot of prosperity there that keeps the city thriving but there are also a lot of young adults (hipsters & college students) that make the city seem so naive, unproductive, and laidback. It's a weird dynamic going on in Austin. The social atmospheres are often awkward and pretentious. Houston so far is great because, although I'm sure they have their fair share of hipsters and college students, they don't seem so predominant as Austin. The social atmosphere is less pretentious and more welcoming. Houston in my view is a city where people go to work and get shit done. I see Austin as the city people go to just be. I really like both cities, don't get me wrong. I think I've been trying to pinpoint why I like Houston more and this post has helped, whether my view is naive, biased, or whatever. I'm probably a bit biased in my views, but so far I'm loving Houston and not missing Austin.NotZachary82 wrote:A little late to reply but YO SAME CITY. Planning to transfer to UT in spring though! Rant of the message, I can't seem to find a niche in the world where I'm comfortable. Tired of Houston (fantastic city though), but I really enjoyed my visits to Austin. Probably shouldn't get my hopes up, but crossing fingers!
What's stopping you?DoorM4n wrote:I can't fucking play Halo 2 without wanting to mod the shit out of it. UGH!
