Even though no one mods, I still like programming for Halo 2. (Even the Beta)

I finally got every bitmap to work. I think there might be one type that it cannot load.

Really cool Click!

Why the beta? because no one has done it and it has tons of cool bitmaps I'd enjoy to see =)

My dad had a servey that involved playing a rather good quality audio track of a cat meowing.
My dog heard it and began searching around confused. While most dogs chase cats just by generic instinct, Terriers where bred to hunt similar sized animals so she took the search a bit more serious.

We then teased her with the sound by playing it over and over. My dog went insane because she couldn't find this elusive cat. Searching all around, under, and on top of the desk.
We tried to calm her down by showing her the source of the sound, which she clearly acknowledged when shown, but continued the search for the cat regardless.
To her simply not seeing it didn't mean it wasn't there, it just means she hasn't found it yet.

She eventually pulled the speakers off the desk in the search. She was rewarded with some sausage links to make it up to her.

My dog, before we put her to sleep, was not able to see or hear, but she could smell like a pro. Every time she got out, cats that roam our neighborhood love to walk through out back yard, and she would drive herself crazy trying to find one with just the scent of them.

Just now got an idea for a toy I could make for my dog.

A cat-shaped plush with a motion-triggered voice box. What's on that voice box? A cat meowing.

That would be cool, but I would imagine it being torn to shreds in moments.

Not with the proper materials and reinforcement of the seems.
After browsing the net for a couple hours for parts, this project looks to be a lot easier than anticipated.

However I still have a project right now that needs finishing. That which is a seemingly ordinary clock that will make you question your sanity. :D

Nice. I want to make an infinity clock, basically a clock made with LED's and some semi reflective film over and mirrored back, so it is a clock that goes on for infinity, similar to an infinity light.

I lol'd. I play stealth a lot. The AI has down syndrome.

Also, I installed Skyrim PC a few days ago. The gamesave structure is identical to that of the 360 version with the exception of the preview image being swizzled.
Skyrim PC also has the console. *creates new fresh gamesave, adds 30,000lbs of items, transfers new save to xbox*

I assembled the clock circuitry yesterday. Found out I need to drill sound holes for the speakers because they are too muffled when the clock is on the wall.
The speakers are there to generate a 'tick' sound since the actual clock mechanism is almost dead silent.

Anyone else find that, in an upcoming interview or important discussion, it's best not to prepare almost at all?

Like, my brother took me to his place of work at a medical school, where people work with mass spectrometers and sterols and steroids, and all this complex shit. He was going to introduce me to his employers, mostly like, the top scientists of the institution, some of them famous in the medical research world, so that I could build a connection with them and get a job or something. Problem is, they are his employers. If I make a shitty impression, it reflects on him, and could potentially ruin his career as a doctor. So he was trying to get me to practice what I was going to say with him to the scientists, and I kept putting it off, or doing really poorly.

Anyway, I end up having absolutely nothing to say to these people. But then, of course, I get introduced, and I go on to making them laugh, and them enthusiastically telling me about their research and whatnot. Basically, them almost promising me a job.

I absolutely hate rehearsing for speeches, especially in front of other people, and I suck at coming up with questions beforehand. But put me in the situation, and I'll knock it out of the park.

That's just my observation. I can only assume that never preparing for presentations and doing things at the last minute in high school led me to this.

I think its better to prepare a little at least, I don't like preparing exact sentences which I am going to repeat at an interview not one bit, but its good to have a general idea of what the job is, what the company does and what you can tell them, some points to show off why you would be the right person for the job, that said if you're able to create a good mood and make them laugh its it even better to make the interview more "conformable" for both sides and just makes you look better :)
