Took apart the fan of my PSU. Wasn't dirty, just not propperly lubricated.
It seems the manufacturer tried cutting costs but using cheap shit grease that wore out.
Couple drops of motor oil fixed it right up.

I actually took a rock climbing orientation at the Rec center yesterday. Was a lot of fun.

Granted the words, "Alright, now, when you come down, yeah like that, put your legs in a "y" shape, right, and then, put them at the same height as your hips," made me want to flip tables.

Being near-perpendicular to a wall was not a very comforting.

But you get use to it.

EDIT:

Hey hey hey, I no longer have access to the administration panel. What the hell Cougar; I was going to screw with Zach's account, like old times.

Today I was heading to Carnegie Lake on Route 1. I was sitting in traffic and my brake pedal kept softening up and I had to push it all the way to the floor a few times just to stop. It's most likely the brake master cylinder, I was hoping it would hold up until summer so I could remove the ABS system and redo the whole brake system at one time. My ABS pump acts up when it's below 20F, it has to prime itself twice as long and it primes 3 times as much when I'm driving which isn't good, and my ABS light sometimes comes on.

My laptop harddrive suffered a head crash and is now unbootable.
So I has new paperweight. :¬_¬:

None of the data on it was backed up so I likely lost everything on it.

At least I found work so I'll have the funds to get/build a desktop PC in the coming weeks.
To hell with laptops. :¬_¬:

Does anyone else find Firefox slowly getting uglier after each update? Ever since they added the transparency it just looks plain ugly. I also hate this floating text crap that replaced the status bar.

I switched to chrome at ~v5 of chrome I think, maybe even v3. I wish firefox was better than chrome because I'd actually rather use a mozilla product than a google one, chrome is just a much better experience in my opinion.

*Laptop working fine, warm but not hot*
*Leave to get lawnmower to start, gone <5 minutes*
*return, laptop off, start it up and it claims it overheated*

What the shit windows. Y U NO CONTROL FAN SPEED?!
The cooling is adequate enough to maintain 100% CPU at room temp INDEFINITELY. Yet my new installation doesn't even bring it to half speed before it overheats.

I was just going to recommend SpeedFan. I use it on my desktop for overclocking. I can set the fan to run at 100% during stress tests but have it reduce the fan speed under normal conditions.

Ya I tried SpeedFan before posting.
The app showed a fan speed of 0RPMS and changing fan speed had no effect on the actual fan.

Also tried the BIOS settings but no speed setting is available. Only fan setting available is one to force the fan to always run but doesn't force a specific speed.

First post in one of these threads.

I hate love. 19 month relationship with my girlfriend nearly fell apart last weekend because the week before I started to develop feelings for an old crush from three years ago that I keep developing feelings for annually it seems like. Can't seem to gather my mind at all, I don't know what I really want. Told my GF that we will try to fall in love again (her words), but at the moment I am thinking of slowly trying to call it off. And you know what I will feel like tomorrow? Like I should have never thought that at all. It is as if I have two people inside my head.

I hate thinking.
