Nah, it can run most of them. Some just need to be run in WinXP compatibility mode.

Then I must be doing something wrong, I tried Windows XP (Service Pack 2) in the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter and there was no change. I'm gonna see if VMware can fix anything.

Just install the virtual machine and use your own copy of Windows XP. I have a copy of XP with an unlimited number of installations if you need it.

I think there's some damn rat behind the walls (well in fact in a tiny room for storing useless stuff, I can't find the english word for it) >_>
I wonder how the fuck it got there I am on a second floor >_>

Fuck, time to beat the crap out of it :/

Tiny room for storing shit in
If it can fit a bed in it it's a box room,
If it's storing jackets and shoes, its a cloak room
If it stores food in it it's a pantry or larder
If it stores towels and bathroom stuff it's an airing cupboard, (usually has something warm in it to "air" clothes out)
If its outside and contains your bin its an outhouse (one word)
All these words for what essentially is a space too small to do anything with so we throw shit in there,

*add edit if it contains Elisabeth Fritzl it's best not to mention it.

Hehe thanks for clearing that up Bumlove, though its not really any of these, basicaly its a house with those ^ roofs to on the sides of the house the ceeling goes lower and lower, that small space in which a person cannot stand unless chrouching is enclosed by walls and used to store stuff.

Anyway got a trap setup, we'll see tomorrow if it catches something

Ah that space in an attic is called "the eves" (weird name I know) I've never heard a specific word for storage in this space, Is there a specific word in French.
I be there there is in German (probably translates to that place where we put things in that space we can't really use for anything else)

He's british... I mean English. I assume it is called that because we call the gutter areas eve's troughs (however it's spelled).

Something wrong in my code, but I'm always too tired when I get home from work to do any legitimate work on it. Very annoying because I am basically done the PMI for sunfish, and would like to get working on other parts of the program. O well, there's always the weekend.

Unfortunately, I have to assess if the entire rig is shot, or just isolated to the power supply. I have a Asus EVO with built in Surge protection, so I should be ok. Normally I would just shutdown my server, take the PSU out of that, and put it into my main rig, to test it out. But 400w PSU is no where near what is required, so I just have to wait and pray!

400w is loads (crappy electrical pun) to test if it boots up. unless you're powering a couple of monitors with it,
A a bit of perspective I have a 160w power supply (granted it's running a celeron piece of shit ) but it has 3 hdd's 2NIC's 3 sound cards and a graphics card,
unplug your usb butt warmer and give it a go
