After reading thru all these posts, i gather that doorman is very happy, and every one else is having a hard time.

If things havnt went the way you've wanted, dont get discouraged, remember life is what you make it. It takes time and dedication, but most of all, its how you view the events in your life that matters.
I went thru a lonely, depressed, mad stage too. Even decided i would end it at one point, because i was living on the street, addicted to drugs, and stealing from people to survive. (at age 16) life was difficult. It took getting shot and shooting the shooter for me to realize i wanted not only to live, but to change.
Now 19 years later, i cant believe that was my life. Open your mind and heart, try things that you always wanted, and some you never thought of, after all life is about living.
So go out and experience as many great things as you can.

Ive found when im sad, i can just decide to be happy, it takes a minute to think of things that make me happy, but then it just happens. If that doesnt work, i just read doormans posts, i think i wanna be like him.

I find saying I love something every day and pondering my love whilst typing it enlightens my day about 1/4th of what it is already! It is a pretty good deal 'cause the more we love the more positive one looks. People love positivity...
