I think I figured out why h2v is so horribly bad...
As far as I can tell h2v doesn't have a low LOD or if it does it not used effectively
so i reckon it would be possible to reduce the lag by modding in a lower LOD for everthing...
it would be a big project but if it worked it would be the most used h2v mod ever lol

H2V has them, just not low ones.

Re: Lag Issues
Hmm, I was originally going to say that LODS and definitely mipmaps must have been used, but after doing some research I found that apparently they were taken out..
What a stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid company. That is all.

Re: Lag Issues
well I noticed that bungie is getting tired of people modding cus the maps are scrambled, and you need info with in the exe to unscramble them or they might get rebuilt in memery. But if you think im full of crap or dont know what im talking about, analyze 2 or 3 maps header and index and count how many constant values you find
Don't snort the magic, we need it for the network.

Re: Lag Issues
Not all maps are going to have the same values so don't expect that.
