Remember, some of the skin changes color.

Nice improvement on the skin man. Theres still some things I would change or play with but it does look better. Also try adding more detail into your skins, although the BR does look good, it no longer has any "detail" to it. Snow still is the same texture as containment I see, might want to think about playing with that. But yea, all in all I see more improvement and good than bad now

Maybe some custom Bump Maps too.

google is your friend, here's some snow and ice textures i found.
those with a custom bump map and your snow will look so real your want to touch your TV screen just make sure its not frozen.

eh. Snow is white. Nice and White. What makes snow is a detail map and a normal map.

Yea, your misunderstanding me. It does have detail sure, but not the detail of a gun. There are certain parts on a gun that should be there, as well as changes in color on different parts. There is more to skinning than simply replacing the entire texture ;]

Your trees: the leaves dar: They annoy me I have to admit. Trees either lose their colours and fall off or stay green, you wont get snow to stay on trees like that. I would suggest going back to the original leaves texture, and just making them brown/gray while keeping the detail they originally had.

Your honor guard elites: you should make their glow blue ;p I think it would spice things up a bit and make them more theme worthy

Well, DotHalo is old and I would assume that the bitmap injection would be buggy since it was made back in 2005. I use Prophet or Entity 1.6 for skinning.

DH bitmap injection is just fine on it, works very well.
