I have noticed a few of you expresing concerns about the health of halomods.
I have come up with this general guideline for anyone who wants to backup Halomods knowledge onto the Remnant server:
Contact the Author: if you are going to backup thier thread send them a pm, and and email (if listed) asking thier permission to backup the thread. If they do not respond in a day just continue with the assumption that it is okay with them, if they contact you later stateing otherwise just remove the archived topic.
Backup the Data: backing up the text is all fine and all but without backing up the linked data like files and images theres really no point to it: if you can save everything locally I can upload it to a special FTP partition.
Give Credit: Just put these tags at the begging of the post, do not quote the original as that is just annoying to look at...

Anyone who wants to add suggestions to this guideline feel free to do so.
