How to Install Yelo on your Xbox

Post by Click16 »

Hello, welcome to my tutorial on installing the Yelo trainer on your Xbox Console.

What you will need:
Yelo I DO NOT take credit for this.
Xored Trainer Launcher - ETM Engine I DO NOT take credit for this.
Note: The download links above are dead. I do expect to re-upload the files and relink the downloads. For now, PM Me if you want the files.

Lets get started.

1. Download the files and extract them.
Image
2. Connect to your Xbox and locate to your apps folder.
Image
3. Go into your Xored_Mini_Launcher_v2.2 folder that you extracted and go into the mini folder. Find a file called Xored and open it with notepad.

Minimize the notepad window
4. Go back to the Xored_Mini_Launcher_v2.2 folder and drag mini over to your Xbox.
5. Go to the mini folder on your Xbox then go to the Trainers folder. In the address bar find where it starts your directory. (E, F, or G depends on your Xbox HDD setup) and copy all until the right side. Mine says: E/Apps/mini/Trainers/. go to the Xored notepad document and paste it over one of the paths. Make sure it has a ":" after your directory and change all of the "\" into "/" because it may make a difference.
Mine is changed from this:

Code: Select all

# 1 trainer path only
Trainers_Path = "C:\Trainers"
#Trainers_Path = "C:\Trainers"
to this:

Code: Select all

# 1 trainer path only
Trainers_Path = "E:\Apps\mini\Trainers"
#Trainers_Path = "C:\Trainers"
You may need to change the Games path if necessary. I didn't have to.

Save it and copy the Xored file over to your Xbox, replacing the old one.

6. Go to the Yelo folder you extracted.
7. Go to the trainers folder on your Xbox and copy Yelo15.etm over to the Trainers folder on your xbox.
8. Go to your E directory on your Xbox. Then go to the tdata folder. then go to the 4d530064 folder. Drag Config_v1.5.INC to your Xbox's 4d530064 folder. Still in the 4d530064 folder, create a new folder and call it "$s."
9. Now you test it. You can take pictures in-game using a button combo, but you have to launch Halo 2 with Xored Trainer Launcher and Yelo.
10. Have fun using Yelo.

the map where you see him as a spartan throwing nades and stuff is old Mombasa...the other sky view of a large city is indeed the main menu...this is not a playable map...but you can explore it with the devcam mode..(when i say not playable i mean it doesn't have collision)

9 objects have collisionin main menu the rest dont, but i am working on a playable main menu mod as we speak, due to be released 2009 many changes have been made, and much collision has been added. After this mod, It will never be the same. :wink:

Sorry for the offtopicness.
