Proper Chain spawning

Proper Chain spawning
Okay, I will teach all that want to make chain spawn grenades.
Must have the following before anything happens:
•Entity
•1 map
•Pinch of experience with entity

1.Select the Effect tree "effe" (under DECR)
2.Select "effects/objects/vehicles/warthog/bumper_destroyed".
3.Right click on the rights side of the box and select "clone chunk".
4.click on the item highlighted in Grey and after that hit "copy to clip board" highlighted red.
5.than scroll up to "effects/impact/explosion_small/plasma_grenade/detonation and click on it.
6.Hit clone chunk again, in the same spot as before (right side)
7.right click on the right side again and go to display and than select "idents"
8.find the newly acquired item you put in, and select it.
9.Right click to the right again, and select swap. as shown below this is what it looks like.
10. In the swap box click on were is says "bloc" and go to "proj".
11. Than find the plasma grenade in the scroll down in the swap box
And your done, oh and expect broken idents.

Whatever, forum permissions fixed.
BTW, you may want to include information on marker names since many effect use marker names on a model to determine where the effect/action/object is spawned.

Why do new people rush to create a tutorial when they have barely begun to mod? It must be the psychological fulfillment of having contributed.
While this knowledge is important, it is old and widely disseminated by now. Most users at Remnant are experienced modders. This tutorial is better suited to Halomods (where it already exists).
Not to discourage you, but build your skills and experience privately, do some research, make some discoveries, and post when you have questions or new findings. Tutorials by Neodos, for example, contain novel techniques for doing fresh or unusual things that widen the possibilities in modding.

Meh ok tutorial could do with some work

Everyone else, don't be such harsh critics. MB its not the best tut but at least hes trying. If you all got shot down like that for every noob mod or tut you made back in the day most of you probably would have got frustrated and eventually quit modding. Show a little support for your fellow modders mb someday this dude was gonna figure out custom PHMO and COLL and u all just ruined it and scared him away from the modding scene! xD Seriously tho, don't be discouraged Pop War Homey, go on halomods and do a search of all of our posts from when we first joined halomods lol. You'll feel better.
