FCE V.3.1 Released!

Post by JacksonCougar »

Got a picture for you guys :p

Image

Version 3.1!
Added an experimental "Auto-save" feature; post any bugs here.
Added icons to some controls and the menus.
Added a "filter" that removes any shaders that do not have functions from the tag tree until you re-open the map.
Fixed some UI stuff.
Added a resign option!

ImageDOWNLOADImage

Version 3.0!
Search function now works!
Colour-picker window added! Click the preview box under the RGB values to open it.

Version 2.0!
Colour previews are updated as you edit now.
The search function does NOT work -- yet.

What it does:
Edits colour values of "Shader Effects".
Some examples of this would be:
HUD Colour, Warthog dash (The animated radar, the speedometer), overshield colour, illumination colour of the plasma rifle meter (the meter you see on the model, in-game), and many more!

Anyone thinking of releasing this on halomods can forget about it if they like their testicles <_< I will release it there when I am good and ready.

looks good, yet to use but looks like just the job for polishing maps up, doomer might be right about the sliders but don't get rid of numbers because sliders can be irritating when you want to copy a colour from something you did earlier, give people the option "choose by number" "choose by slider" then everyone's happy

Or just stick the slider under the value boxes. But yea dont get ride of the boxes. 1 question, when you click the color does the color chooser dialog come up? if not you should add that too.

I thought there was an alpha as well in the shader. Still nice app.

Jackson, this tool has a lot more uses than I thought. It is amazing. One thing, though... Can you update it so it isn't always accessing a map? I want to have my map open in Entity and this program.
