Meta Editor

Post by Zaid »

I have been working on this Meta Editor for a while now and have decided to release it.
This program was mainly made for RTH editing and for some reason thats the only thing I haven't tested as much.
I just wanted to say Thanks to Jackson for helping me with a lot of things.
Please only use the plugins that this app comes with(just for now) because I have not tested it with others.

Currently Working:
Ident Viewer
Reflexive Viewer
Ident Swapper
Meta Editor(floats,ints,uints,shorts,ushorts,bytes,sbytes,enums,bitmasks, and tags)
Ent Plugin Editor(Currently does not edit Bitmasks, and enums)
Quick Plugin Editor for Reflexive and Ident Viewer
Map Resigner(Not Tested)
Poking
All tags except(sbsp,ltmp)
Make projectiles visible to Non-host(poke or save)

If you find any bugs please let me know on AIM or PM
I am currently working on the plugin editor so for now there might be some bugs, but if you use it correctly there should be no issues

Looks fairly good, you should release the code so others can learn from it and make it better.

You need to have the yelo debug stuff in the folder that has the map you want to open.

Explain please
It seems to work.
What if the user has different maps in other folder they would have to copy the debug files into every folder?
I think the way it is setup now works just fine

well i tried to open a test map that was saved to my desktop, I got an error saying it cant find C/docs and sets/owner/desktop/yelo debug settings .xml.

So I copied the .xml and the .dll to my desktop, then i was able to open the map.

Well I don't know why...
I don't have my yelodebug in my maps folder
Yelodebug just has to be in the same folder as the .exe of the app

What ever location i try to open a map from, it searches for the yelodebug stuff from that folder, then fails if the files are not present.

Very cool stuff. You should make it identify which marker you are editing in the mode tag. :)
