I'm talking about something really small.
Like Pong or Tetris...
I say this because if you aim too big, you end up with nothing...
But if we successfully make something small, we might later succeed in making something bigger...
It should be more than possible to achieve this.
I propose the following technology:
Game Engine: Unity3D
Programming IDE: Visual Studio Community Edition with UnityVS Plugin
2D Art: Whatever you like but for legal purposes I would suggest Paint.Net
Source Control and Issue Tracking: BitBucket (Git)
Git Client: Source Tree
Deployment: Unity Cloud Build (its awesome and makes it easy for everyone to get the latest version of the game)
Platform: Android, PC
We could also target Windows Phone but its not supported by cloud build at the moment, so I would have to deploy it using my Windows 8 computer in the cloud (Azure).
If successful, we could also target iOS but this requires money for a developer account.
Communication: This forum of course, but I also think HipChat would be a good addition
Who's interested?

I can definitely throw some effort into something like that; sounds fun.

I've attempted several 2d games using MonoGame and previously XNA, but I haven't tried using Unity.

Re: Lets Make a Game!
It would seem I am the only person with Unity experience on this forum...
Its really easy, especially compared to XNA/Monogame.

Sounds like it could be fun. I haven't been programming much lately. Although you probably need people more in other sections. I should try unity again. I tried it once, but it didn't run right on the Laptop I tried. I love projects, but of course the inevitable late nights would happen...
